Hey I'm Yanis, a visual artist whose work spans various media and technologies, exploring the intersection of analog and digital. Currently, I split my time between Switzerland and the Netherlands, working on projects across Europe.
With a background in computer science that began in 2016, I ventured into photography in 2020. In 2023, I expanded my creative practice to include analog and physical mediums, blending both digital and analog techniques in my work.
As a member of thick collective, I collaborate with other creatives on a diverse range of projects, while also working as a developer and designer at BINARY one GmbH. Since 2025, I am also a member of the National Press Photographers Association.
My work focuses on exploring people and society through multimedia. I seek to investigate social structures by creating experimental apparatus that critically examine the various facets of everyday life.
